This is my very first LinkedIn post—not to announce a new role, but to share a journey. A simple belief has been guiding me: don’t settle—choose to empower your decisions. I spent many rewarding years in finance and accounting. I loved the work, the challenges, and yes—even those late nights every finance professional knows too well. It gave me purpose and growth (and I still do some freelancing today). But over time, that sense of fulfillment started to fade. I began asking myself deeper questions: How can I contribute to society in a more meaningful way? How can I create impact beyond the numbers? Perhaps it’s age catching up—but the questions grew louder. For a year, I couldn’t find the answer. Yet in hindsight, that very search became the turning point. It nudged me onto a different path—one less about balance sheets, and more about creating value and impact that truly resonate with the heart. Letting go of the past isn’t easy. It takes courage—sometimes a lot of it—especially when it means redefining comfort and lifestyle. But with every step into the unknown, I remind myself: step forward without regrets, and fill your heart with passion. Because that’s where true fulfillment begins. I believe many of us have faced moments of hitting rock bottom—when doubts feel heavier than answers, and the changes we make may seem hasty to others. But only you truly know yourself. Don’t settle for “it’s okay” or “it’s fine.” Life is too precious for compromise. Instead, choose the path that sparks joy, fulfillment, and meaning.
