Steps from a generated mesh to working game character. ▶️ Image reference generation, Grok Imagine ▶️ Initial 3D mesh - Tripo. I only used 2 reference images (front and side profile). Tripo understood the head shape best in this case. ▶️ Lowpoly and Unwrap - Hunyuan 3D Studio. ▶️ Texturing - Trellis2 in ComfyUI. I like that I can add nodes to the workflow to generate a Normal Map and AI upscale to get more detail while keeping a 2K texture. ▶️ Skeletal setup and weight-painting in Blender. ▶️ Retargeting and gameplay in UEFN This is just an initial experiment not a fixed pipeline. Maybe in the next test I get a better results with another combo. I think the steps stay roughly the same though and it's nice to iterate every step to get the best result for the next step.
