Last week I sat down with the team at FreightWaves to talk about the future of autonomous trucking and how it impacts supply chain strategy (interview below). This technology is expected to improve safety, reliability, and security while also mitigating the labor shortage risk for truck drivers. This is the kind of rapid, transformational change that will define who can and can't service their customers in the near future. It's also a great example of how AI is driving major change (literally) in a real-life physical environment.
