€20M Series A: what we needed at SonoMind to keep the hard work going 😉, and to keep getting closer to the ambition that drives each of us, every single day. 💸 Money matters, of course, now that we’re entering our clinical phase. As always, we aim for the highest standards on both sides of the Atlantic in order to confirm the efficacy of our focused ultrasound neuromodulation device, built on 25 years of cutting-edge research led by Jean-Francois Aubry and Mickaël Tanter. We’re talking randomized, double-blind, multicenter clinical trials – where funding is key. 🤝 But in the long journey of #deeptech innovation, trust and long-term partnership matter even more. I’m deeply grateful to Nicolas F. from Critical Path Ventures and François Charbonnier from Bpifrance Deeptech Venture for believing in our project: treating severe psychiatric disorders such as treatment-resistant depression, where there is currently no effective treatment for one in three patients. And for sharing our vision: developing a #neuromodulation solution that targets deep brain regions with unprecedented precision, yet remains non-invasive and portable. We believe this is a key driver of massive impact for patients.
