End of another chapter! I recently finished up at GE Aerospace after 2 years as the ‘Senior Counsel - Labour & Employment’ covering APAC. My husband’s job is on the move again and it’s time for me to move back to Scotland after >16yrs in Asia (HK & SG). I’ve been in and out of GE since August 2018 (covering maternity leaves and then joining on a permanent basis). I do love GE. I’ve said it many times. It’s a great employer full of smart, capable people and endless learning opportunities. I will miss my colleagues. Please get in touch if you’re ever in Edinburgh. You know who you are 🙌. Thanks especially to my wonderful HR colleagues and for the thoughtful gifts from the Singapore HR team (Elsie Lee Ching Lim, Choy Koon Seng and everyone in the team) and China HR team (Doreen Ding, Yvonne Chen & Freya Yang). So much appreciated. And my lovely lunch with the SG L&C team (Christopher Edwards, Carolyn Cherrett, Zhiqian Qin, Daryl Mok & Steve Buxton). I was also proud to be the Sustainability Network Lead for APAC and for the speaking event organised with a huge amount of help from Sreekanth Kookal and support from the business leaders Nakul Gupta Iain R. & Victor Ng. Thanks to Edward Tay（Prof）정 웨이밍 for coming to our site to speak about climate change and issues such as impacts on agriculture and biodiversity loss. And I hope our trip to the NEA waste-to-energy site helped raise awareness of the issue of plastic pollution and the need to reduce single use plastics.
