One of my favorite investments isn’t in a new tool or process. It’s time spent as a team walking through an innovative building. Last week our team visited the Krause Gateway Center in downtown Des Moines to learn about Renzo Piano’s architectural vision behind the space, the engineering required to bring it to life and support the 29’ tall glass facade, and the role art and nature play in shaping the human experience throughout the building. What I love about experiences like this is that everyone notices something different. + The researcher sees human behavior + The designer sees proportion + The engineer sees precision and application + The marketer sees storytelling Innovation becomes richer when we intentionally expose ourselves to disciplines beyond our own and get out of our comfort zones, because inspiration rarely arrives on schedule. #Innovation #Leadership #Design #Architecture Kendra Schwery Tara Okerstrom-Bauer Cindy Rhodes Steve Van Zee Gunner Hutton Brooke Guinn Megan Anton William Parcells Kai Beckett Alex Nicoll
