I scored 93.1% marks in my tenth board exams and to say the least my family wasn’t that happy because they expected atleast 95! The fear of not meeting the family expectations grew from there. This year my youngest brother scored 65% and indeed to say my family wasn’t happy but I brought a small cake for him and asked everyone to celebrate it, appreciate his efforts and encourage him to do better. We want our younger ones to have the good experiences we never had, and not have the bad ones that we did. We lost a very close family member this year and to be able to focus and give your best while dealing with the loss was definitely a challenge! With this small gesture he will grow up believing that his efforts are seen and appreciated! He will believe that no matter the situation he has his family cheering for him. As we grow older we realise the amount of stress we take for certain things in life weren’t worth it. We probably laugh thinking about those times. It is important for us to help the younger generation navigate through those challenges with love and encouragement. I congratulate all the students for passing with flying colors and i really wish them all the very best.
