IT og ledelse fra hjertet.

--- English below--- At gå med et ERP som ikke matcher virksomhedens organisering og kultur – og der ikke ligger et ønske eller en strategi om at ændre den – er en dyr fejl. Det rækker langt ud over IT-omkostningerne. Det har enorme konsekvenser for driften af forretningen. Bliver man bevidst om sådan en fejl - så skal der træffes modige og ubehagelige beslutninger. Denne indsigt landede hos den øverste ledelse i BPW og Aftermarket Group i løbet af Juni. Derefter tog de hurtigt den rigtige beslutning for gruppen. Derfor er det D365 SCM projekt som teamet og jeg arbejdede på blevet stoppet. Vi var ellers MAX klar. Som en flok travheste i startboksen der utålmodigt ventede på startskuddet. Kæmpe shout-out til jer alle for det vi trods alt leverede - herunder et solidt fundament som desværre ikke skal bruges. Nu vil jeg holde en god lang sommerferie – og så glæder jeg mit til at se hvilke spændende muligheder der viser sig på den anden side. God sommer ☀️ 😎 🏖️ --- Choosing an ERP system that does not align with a company's organization and culture—when there is neither the desire nor the strategy to change those things—is a costly mistake. The impact goes far beyond IT costs. It has major consequences for the day-to-day operation of the business. And when you become aware of such a mistake, courageous and uncomfortable decisions have to be made. This realization reached the senior leadership of BPW and the Aftermarket Group during June. They then moved quickly and made the right decision for the group. As a result, the D365 SCM project that my team and I had been working on has been stopped. We were ready! Like racehorses in the starting gate, impatiently waiting for the starting gun. A huge shout-out to all of you for what we delivered nonetheless, including a solid foundation that unfortunately will never be used.
