René-Jules Lalique (April 6, 1860 – May 1, 1945) was a French master glassmaker, jeweller, goldsmith, and medalist. He is best known as one of the most influential creators of Art Nouveau and Art Deco in France, particularly for his jewelry, perfume bottles, vases, chandeliers, and clocks.
