Our film Moklani has become the first-ever Pakistani Feature Film Winner at the 2025 Jackson Wild Media Awards, celebrated worldwide as the Nature Oscarsยฎ. ๐ŸŽฅ๐Ÿ† We dedicate this award to the Mohana fisherfolk, to Pakistan, and to all indigenous communities whose stories, struggles, and wisdom inspire us to keep telling the stories that matter. Produced by Jawad Sharif Films with the support of the National Geographic Society and Climate Kahani, Moklani follows the Mohana fisherfolk of Manchar Lake, a centuries-old community now watching their waters, culture, and heritage fade away. A special thanks to everyone who has been part of this remarkable journey over the past four years, and specifically our team - without your support and love, nothing would have been possible. Syeda Kashmala ,Asif Ali, Maria Jawed Badawi, Sunila Khan, Mohammad Mushtaq, Fayaz Khan, Zain Idrees, Raja Ramish, and Zahid Mehmood.
