DEI Has Been Reframed — But the Human Need to Belong Hasn’t Changed. Corporate DEI once carried $9.3 billion in investment and bold promises of equity and inclusion. Now, under legal, political, and reputational pressure, those words have quietly disappeared from many reports and boardrooms. But here’s the truth: ⥋ You can rename it belonging, fairness, or human capital management — call it whatever you want — people still need to feel that they matter to perform. We start with a personal story — a call for help in tackling generational bias that continues to divide teams and limit potential. That leads to two questions every organization should be asking: 🧩 How do we shatter generational bias—without losing trust across age, race or role? 🧩 How do we measure inclusion when the language itself is being reframed?
