The answer is safe drinking water. 💧 To solve this, Yamaha Motor deploys the Yamaha Clean Water Supply System (YCW). Driven by sand and microorganisms, it requires no chemicals or large power, letting residents manage it themselves. In Senegal, 11 villages have introduced YCW. A survey of 35 residents near Saint-Louis showed that this initiative successfully contributed to alleviating diarrhea, abdominal pain, and skin diseases. Delighted by the delicious water, local residents shared that they now feel physically lighter. Now in 15 countries, YCW boosts quality of life and economic growth while liberating people from grueling water collection. Japan’s innovation continues to support a sustainable future. 🌱
