An open, second "home" where young people learn and grow together. 🌍✨ In Cambodia, economic hardships force many parents to leave home for work, disrupting their children’s education. To tackle this, Kokkyo naki Kodomotachi (KnK), a Japan-based international NGO, runs the House for Youth to provide an environment where they can focus on their studies and vocational training. Beyond providing a safe place to live and study, the House for Youth is built on the belief that learning is fostered through relationships—with peers, mentors, and other members of the community around them. Since the initiative launched in 2000, more than 500 children have taken their first steps toward independence through their lives at the House for Youth. 🤝
