On June 2, EPA updated its New Approach Methods list for the first time in five years, adding 13 methods and — for the first time — naming #FIFRA alongside #TSCA. The same week, a Council of Producers & Distributors of Agrotechnology (CPDA)-sponsored Stratovation Group study put hard numbers on what everyone in this industry already believed: row-crop #farmers are reaching for biologicals faster than the year before. And underneath both, a new AgbioInvestor study for CropLife International put the conventional-synthetic price tag at $307 million and 11.4 years to bring one new active ingredient to market.
