Monoceros 3 is out Monoceros is a discrete assembly toolkit for Grasshopper. You design pieces, set rules for how they connect, and Monoceros organizes them into a large coherent structure using Wave Function Collapse.Version 3 is a ground-up rewrite. New in this release: Connectors with symmetry detection for easier rule setup, automatic Module rotations, weighted Module distribution, multi-pass solving (solve partially, adjust, solve again), and a completely new documentation site with a quickstart guide, 30 example workflows and a full FAQ. Monoceros 3 is free to download and use. It runs on Windows and Mac, Rhino 7 and 8. Paid tiers remove the solver rate limit. If you have been using Monoceros 1 or 2, your older definitions will not open in version 3 because the components are different. Both older versions are still available for manual download from Food4Rhino so you can keep working with existing projects. The best place to start is the new website: www.monoceros.tools. You will also find it on Food4Rhino and in the Rhino Package Manager. I would appreciate your feedback.
