Advanced manufacturing doesn't happen by accident. A recent TNO analysis shows the strength of the Dutch pharmaceutical sector while also highlighting an important challenge: investment in R&D is no longer keeping pace with its growth. The report also highlights the Netherlands' leading position in cell therapy, accounting for 23% of the global market. That is something worth recognising. Manufacturing individualized cell therapies reliably at scale so they can reach hospitals requires talented people, specialised manufacturing, strong infrastructure and close collaboration across the entire ecosystem. Over the past 9 years, I've seen first-hand the value of that ecosystem. It's one of the reasons the Netherlands has become such a strong location for advanced manufacturing. That position has been built over many years. Maintaining it will require continued investment in talent, innovation and collaboration. #LifeSciences #Biotech #Innovatie #CellTherapy #FutureOfHealth #mycompany
