First a quick disclaimer: CAIAK ≠ Czarna Magia Announcement: we terminate our operations at UWM. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has helped me build this community from scratch over the past three years. It was a great experience to work with the Świta Znachora team: Remigiusz Sęk Kacper Gutowski Andrii Norets Michał Sztymelski Dawid Koterwas Bartłomiej Chmielewski Konrad Nowakowski Piotr Ostaszewski When we started there where no: - weekly meetups - semester team projects with curated engineering methodology - culture of joining events in other cities (like Ghost Day, Ensemble AI, ML in PL and many others. It is really amazing that I can see other folks from Warmia on these venues each time I join them. This was not obvious 3 years ago) - alumni starting full time positions at cool tech companies Many thanks for dean Adam Doliwa, Mariola Adamska, Agnieszka M. Zbrzezny, Artur Samojluk, Onyshchenko Viktoriia, Krzysztof Ropiak and other faculty employees which supported our actions. It was crucial to have the support of the faculty to operate as efficient as possible. Huge respect for Jakub Poziemski and Jan Fidor for supporting me personally in terms of ML expertise. I’m satisfied with the foundations we left for students that will come after us. I’m sure that other science clubs will emerge at wmii, but this is a mission for the next generation. I bet on my friends from Świta Znachora: Konrad Nowakowski and Bartłomiej Chmielewski! This is a beginning of a great story, a story that does not start from a white page. This is not the end, it's the start of a new chapter. See you at CAIAK 2027 (maybe on another river, but with the same team on board)
