Industry is at a decisive technological inflection point. The future of competitiveness will be defined by how intelligently we connect engineering, software, artificial intelligence, and physical production into one coherent execution system. In this context, I am honored to take responsibility for Product Management of our Industrial Metaverse platform metys at EDAG. My sincere thanks go to Dirk Keller, Dennis Luft,Matthias Medler and Daniel Aha for their trust. metys is not a conventional software platform. It is an Industrial Execution Framework — designed to orchestrate Digital Twins, simulation, AI-driven decision systems, and automation into real industrial impact. It bridges the gap between virtual planning and physical production, connecting architecture, system integration, ramp-up, and operational excellence into one scalable ecosystem. I believe the Industrial Metaverse is not about visualization — it is about execution. It is about reducing investment risk before steel is cut, enabling adaptive production systems, and creating resilient, data-driven factories capable of continuous optimization. Over the past three years, metys has evolved through intensive cross-functional collaboration across EDAG. What began as a technological vision has matured into concrete industrial use cases. The close collaboration with Dennis Luft, Matthias Medler, Philipp Hummel, Jörg Gehrmann, and Christoph Huber — representing many dedicated colleagues — has been instrumental in shaping the platform into what it is today. Equally critical is our strong partner ecosystem — particularly NVIDIA, EY, Wandelbots, AMBER AI & Data Science Solutions GmbH , and additional technology and industrial partners. Together, we are building more than a platform; we are shaping a new industrial operating model. metys emerges at the intersection of strategic transformation, technological excellence, and industrial realization capability. Our ambition is clear: To transform complexity into executable intelligence. To convert data into measurable industrial value.
