Jamaica's screen industry just hit another milestone! This Saturday, Sky Atlantic's new limited series Possession gets an exclusive Jamaican screening at The Courtleigh Auditorium — and it's a story worth telling. Directed by Jamaican filmmaker Storm Saulter and shot on location, Possession is the second project approved under the JSDI Production Rebate, following the global success of Bob Marley: One Love. The production employed 140+ Jamaican crew members, trained nine emerging professionals alongside international practitioners, and forged a partnership between local outfit Cinecom Productions and the UK's Snowed-In Productions. As Senator, the Hon. Aubyn Hill, Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce noted, this is what the J$1 billion JSDI investment is built for: turning creative talent into real export value and positioning Jamaica as a globally competitive screen production hub.
