“You have to be yourself” THIS is the best advice out there when it comes to cutting through online (in my opinion. Here's why).... > 730,000 hours of content uploaded to YouTube every day. > 95 million photos and videos on Instagram. > I scroll feeds and see the same stuff over and over - we all do. The gatekeepers no longer exist. Anyone with a phone can create content now. And for the most part, we’re copying each other. Same hooks, same formats. You might go viral with a trend, but no-one will remember your name. The only way to reach people isn't to shout louder or more often. It's to say something different or deliver it in a brand new way. Resist (and I know it's hard) copying others as much as you can. Your own perspective or way of speaking or lived experience? That’s not something to mould into ‘content’. It’s something to preserve and put out in its purest form! 🫡
