Picture this... 17th hole, par 3, Three Locks Golf Club. 3 shots clear of my mate (who plays off 13) 8 iron, 135 yards, #Woburn Golf Club stamped Pro V1 - a ball far too classy to be hacked around 18 holes. Smoked it. Watched it. Started composing the LinkedIn post in my head. Looked long. Wedge in Hand. 2 foot short. Gutted. #Golf immortality reduced to "nice birdie." Consoled myself with the appropriate amount of beer. The better man won on the day. Could've been magical. Was, in fact, just fine. Anyway, back to what I do best - getting ignored on LinkedIn 🏌🏼‍♂️⛳
