Recipe below: Recipe below. 1 Gallon water 1 cup kosher salt 1 cup sugar 1 orange cut in half 1 lemon cut in half 1 lime cut in half 2 springs Rosemary 4 springs thyme Small fist full of fresh sage 3 cinnamon sticks 1 tbsp black peppercorns 1 onion large chopped 1 carrot large chopped 1 stock of celery large chopped 5 large garlic cloves 1 jalapeño pepper cut in half long ways 1 gallon of ice -Fill pot with water -Squeeze orange, lemon and lime into water and place the fruit into the water afterwards. -Add salt, sugar, cinnamon, peppercorn, onion, celery, carrots, herbs, and garlic to your water. -bring to a boil and reduce to a runner for 5 - 10min. Strain brine into clean container and add ice to cool down and increase volume. Brine turkey over night or 1 hour for ever Ib the turkey weighs. #turkey #thanksgiving #brine #family #fall
