I was once told by a hiring manager that if I managed Sidetrack in Chicago, I can do ANYTHING in the world, and I would have to agree with him.
Over The Rainbow has been celebrating the life of this beautiful soul for ten years today. I love the last photo of him wearing my coat. ā¤ļø š Gio Robert Cosentino passed away Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011, at his home in Chicago after a brief but tenacious battle with cancer. He was 26. Gio was born April 15, 1985, in Wausau to Ann (Cosentino) Lemmer and John Derwinski (deceased). He grew up in Wausau, where he graduated from Newman Catholic High School in 2003. Gio attended DePaul University in Chicago, and was subsequently employed as a flight attendant by Shuttle America. Gio was a talented musician who played piano at many Wausau area services and special occasions throughout his formative years. His hobbies included traveling, cooking, music and coffee (Gio really loved his coffee!). People knew him as smart, funny, kind, loving, gentle, and unshakably devoted to his family and friends. He was a light spirit who bravely carried a heavy burden. We will remember his smile, his voice, his laughter, and the bright light in his eyes. Being with him was a joy; now he is with us only ā but forever ā in our hearts. Gio is survived by his brother and sister, Andrae and Bryan Lemmer; by his mother, Ann (Cosentino) Lemmer and her husband, Dan; and by many of his loving relatives in the Cosentino, Lemmer and Derwinski families. A private ceremony will be held in the fall. Meanwhile, reach out to someone who knew Gio and share your favorite memories over a hot cup of coffee. He'll be there. š #MEOW https://lnkd.in/gjjHcjAV
