USYD BEcon/LLB (lII) | Board Director at USU

Happy to update that I've been elected to the Board of Directors of the University of Sydney Union (USU)! The USU is Australia's largest independent student-led member organisation, boasting an annual turnover of $36 million as of 2025. It exists to advance the student experience at the University of Sydney, and has done so ever since it was founded in 1874. In this role, I'll collaborate with fellow Directors to align the strategy of USU with being more transparent, well-governed, ethical, accountable, and sustainable; values that the membership both desires and deserves. I've also taken on additional responsibilities by being appointed to the Governance Committee, which is responsible for reviewing and monitoring the Constitution, Bylaws, policies and procedures of USU to ensure operational and legal compliance. I'm excited for the next two years of my term, alongside my fellow Board Directors Michael Bromley MAICD, Nabilah Chowdhury, Michelle Choy, Tiffany Donnelly, Serina Guo, Sally Liu, William McCarthy, Noah Rancan, Zayed Tabish, Phan Vu, Annika Wang, Layla Wang, and Archie Wolifson, to further the mission of the USU and serve its wonderful members.
