Cambridge Medical Sciences Undergraduate

Last term, I presented my research poster at the Laidlaw Foundation Conference in Durham. I'm delighted to say my research was highly commended by Taylor & Francis Group and shortlisted for publication in their F1000 Impact Journal. I was also one of 20 selected to give a short speech on my findings. It was a bit of a surprise - I have performed a few stand-up comedy sets before, but found it's more challenging when talking about parasitic worms. However, it was a pleasure to share the potential of helminth therapy with other scholars. Looking forward to the summer, I have been selected by makesense to spend 6 weeks in Medellin, Columbia to create and carry out a social enterprise project (not the Pablo Escobar kind) with the local community. My poster is uploaded here: https://lnkd.in/eGV-yT2w
