It was a pleasure to welcome TAFE Queensland nursing students to the JCU Yeinie Building for a recent tour, offering a firsthand look at the next stage in their nursing journey. These visits highlight the strong and supportive pathway available for Enrolled Nurses looking to advance their careers and become Registered Nurses through JCU’s Bachelor of Nursing Science. TAFE Queensland Diploma of Nursing graduates receive credit for their first year of the degree, enabling them to enter directly into second year and accelerate their progression. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to building a highly skilled nursing workforce for our region. By creating clear, accessible pathways, we’re helping students take the next step with confidence and purpose.
