A major milestone for health education and research in Far North Queensland! JCU officially opened the Yeinie Building in Cairns today, a state-of-the-art facility co-located with Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service as part of the Cairns Health and Innovation Precinct. Home to JCU Nursing and Medicine students, and soon Midwifery students, the facility will strengthen clinical education, tropical health research and workforce development to support healthier communities across Northern Australia and the tropics.
