๐ฉ JUST LAUNCHED | Roll With It: How Hosting Drives City Investment ๐ค How is music, culture and digital platform usage transforming the visibility - and investability - of the UKโs cities? ๐ก ING Media's latest research reveals that stadium gigs, viral videos and cultural capital are fuelling long-term growth in city branding and investment. Itโs not just about hosting the big moments - itโs about posting them too. ๐ Liverpool continues its โeraโ as the UKโs second most talked-about city, thanks to the Taylor Swift effect. But with Oasisโ reunion on the horizon, Manchester might be ready to take that supersonic leap into second place. ๐ Bradford, Brighton and Leicester all rank in the top 20 most visible cities, with nearly 10% of their profile driven by conversations about diversity. ๐ฑ The landscape is shifting - fast. Nearly 15% of city-related conversations now happen on LinkedIn and TikTok, with TikTok set to take the lead by 2030. ๐๏ธ Our research shows that while big-ticket venues bring long-term rewards, cities without major infrastructure can still break through - by embracing diversity, syncing with national priorities, and teaming up with their city neighbours. ๐ As the race to be the UKโs most investable cities heats up, we're focused on what every city - large or small - needs to do to stay relevant. ๐ฉ Download the full report here: https://lnkd.in/dNtGpbyn ๐ค Want to find out more?
