Research Position: Postdoc and Doctoral Researchers in Interlinking Heterogeneous Data and Research Data Management in the Built Environment The Design Computation Team invites applications from highly qualified and passionate researchers for postdoctoral and doctoral positions in the fields of interlinking heterogeneous data and research data management in the built environment. Context and Mission As part of #NFDI4Ing—the national research data infrastructure platform for the Engineering Sciences—and the JOINT Excellency Cluster CARE (Climate-Neutral and Resource-Efficient Construction) by #RWTH Aachen University and TU Dresden, you will contribute to cutting-edge research and development in data integration and #FAIR platforms. Your work will focus on preparing data for Machine Learning (ML) and AI-driven research, advancing the digital transformation of the built environment. Your Profile We are seeking candidates who bring: - Expertise in research and development involving heterogeneous information sources in the built environment. - In-depth knowledge of Linked Data and Semantic Web methods and technologies. - A Master’s or Doctoral (PhD) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in developing, maintaining, and deploying research software prototypes. - Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Research Data Management (RDM) is highly desirable but not mandatory.
