First time mentoring with Startmate and genuinely didn’t know what to expect, but it was such a good experience. Big shoutout to Louisa Lin. You can tell how much work’s gone into the program, everything just runs properly, the sessions are actually useful, and even though I couldn’t make the in-person stuff, heard nothing but good things. Also, the quality of founders in the group was seriously high. Got to spend time with a bunch of startups over the program, seeing how they think, how they pivot, and how they push through uncertainty. That part was probably the highlight for me. Huge respect to all the founders who put themselves out there. It’s not easy, and it shows. Feeling pretty optimistic about where the startup ecosystem is heading after this one.
