The best teachers have always known something that research is only now catching up to — Stories don't just explain concepts. They make concepts unforgettable. Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad, hosted a CBSE Capacity Building Workshop on Storytelling as a Pedagogy — bringing together educators for a day of professional growth that was as much about rediscovering their own craft as it was about learning new techniques. The workshop was led by two remarkable resource persons. Ms. Rubyna Shahin guided participants on integrating storytelling with experiential learning and competency-based education — showing how a well-told story can carry the weight of an entire lesson plan, and carry it further than any textbook can. Ms. Sheuli Ghosh brought the room alive with dynamic storytelling techniques — demonstrating how voice modulation, narrative rhythm, and puppetry can transform a classroom into a space of genuine imagination, empathy, and joy. The day unfolded under the leadership of Director Principal Ms. Shalini Nambiar, whose commitment to continuous teacher development reflects a belief that Jaipuria has long held — that the quality of a school is ultimately the quality of its teachers. And that investing in educators is investing in every student they will ever teach. At Jaipuria, we don't just upskill our teachers. We remind them why they chose this work in the first place. #TeacherDevelopment #CBSEWorkshop #CapacityBuilding #JaipuriaVasundhara #JaipuriaSchools
