"I don't even know where to look." We heard you. So today we are solving it. š Most job seekers limit themselves to one or two platforms and then wonder why the results feel dry. The truth is, opportunities are everywhere. You just need to know where to look. Here is your complete job search toolkit: šµ LinkedIn Jobs Filter by date posted, location, and experience level. Set job alerts for your target role so opportunities come to you daily. Connect with recruiters actively, many post roles on their profiles before the job board. š Jobberman & MyJobMag (for Nigerian-based roles) Two of the most active job boards for African professionals. Check daily and set up email alerts for your field. š Indeed & Glassdoor Global platforms with thousands of listings. Use specific keywords not just job titles. Search phrases like "entry-level data analyst remote" instead of just "data analyst." š¤ Company websites directly Go to the "Careers" page of your top 10 dream companies and apply directly. These applications often bypass the competition on public job boards entirely. š¬ Your network If an existing connection recommends your skills to a hiring manager, your application is taken more seriously even if you only meet some of the qualifications. Tell people you're looking. Post on LinkedIn. Ask directly. š± WhatsApp and Telegram job groups Search for industry-specific job groups in your field. Many Nigerian and African opportunities are shared exclusively in these communities. š¦ Twitter/X Search hashtags like #hiring, #jobalert, #remotejobs. Many startups and small companies post openings here before anywhere else. The rule: diversify your sources every single day. Don't fish in one pond and wonder why you're not catching anything. Day 9. Apply from at least 2 different sources today. šš½ Which platform have you been sleeping on?
