This publication (in Dutch) is the result of a masterclass organized by foundation Grafein. The masterclass took place in november 2019 in Beeldstorm/Daglicht in Eindhoven and had as a starting point the theory about the abstract line by the late Dutch artist Ad Dekkers (1938-1974). Six contemporary artist analyzed their own relationship with abstract line and some results are presented in this publication: Marco Arwert, Rogier Arents, Leonie van Santvoort, Véronique Driedonks, Monique Kwist en Jadranka Njegovan. With texts by Maria Kapteijns, Katja Rodenburg and Christel Andrik. In appendix: the original text by Ad Dekkers 'over de lijn' from 1971. The masterclass and this publication is result of huge efforts by Maria Kapteijns, artist, cultural scientist and chair of Grafein. Her involvement in the organization as well as in the subject-matter and support to artists was unmistakable and irreplaceable.
