Most leadership struggles don’t come from a lack of skill or effort. They come from imbalance. Under pressure, we tend to rely on the dimensions of leadership we’re most comfortable with — and quietly let others fade into the background. Over time, this shapes not just how we lead, but how far our impact can travel. In this article, I build on the four dimensions of leadership (self, relationships, teams, organization) to explore four leadership typologies — and the patterns that tend to limit us without us noticing. I also share where I personally got stuck for years, and what helped me expand my leadership range. Would love your perspectives on this: Gilbert Doumit Jacques Neatby Taieb Hafsi Tom Kosnik Jeffrey Pfeffer
