🎉 Excited to share the publication of my latest preprint on arXiv! 📚💻 This work represents the culmination of three years of study and research during my PhD and is the result of a truly challenging (but rewarding) journey. Together with my co-author, Christian Apostoli, we worked on developing a novel approach to simulate the dynamics of open quantum systems using Monte Carlo methods. The result was far from obvious at the beginning—we faced significant challenges and many moments of uncertainty, where progress seemed nearly impossible. But thanks to determination and perseverance, we managed to overcome these obstacles and bring this project to life. I would also like to thank Gianluca Bertaina, Davide Galli and Margo G. Genoni for their support and valuable guidance throughout this journey—their insights and encouragement have been crucial for the success of this work. Open quantum systems play a fundamental role in many areas of quantum physics, and developing efficient and accurate simulation methods is a critical challenge. We hope that our findings will contribute to advancing this fascinating field.
