I was fortunate to work in the San Diego Padres front office for one season. Though short, it was a dream come true, especially as a local San Diego native, Padres fan and lover of all things baseball. I think about that season long experience often. Being in the ballpark every day, walking the tunnel, going to batting practice and just being around baseball daily. Kid in the candy store stuff and something I’ll remember for the rest of my life. Happy Opening Day to all and good luck to my favorite team. Please refrain from referencing the other NL West team to the north in the comments. #karpediem
