As Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) 2026 wraps up, one thing is clear: the market is at an inflection point and the conversation has evolved beyond AI innovation. It’s now about how AI fits into the imaging ecosystem, drives innovation without disruption and delivers proven outcomes. Across sessions, client conversations and the SIIM Hackathon, similar themes emerged: interoperability, open standards, workflow integration and the need to connect imaging data more seamlessly across the enterprise. The next wave of innovation won't be built on isolated applications. It will be built on connected end-to-end platforms, shared standards and trusted infrastructure – on how technologies and systems work together. That's one reason we're proud to support the 𝗦𝗜𝗜𝗠 𝗛𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲. Meaningful innovation accelerates when developers, clinicians and informaticists come together around standards-based approaches such as DICOM and FHIR to solve real-world challenges. That's why Jacobian remains committed to standards-based innovation and an agentic AI platform that connects workflows, findings, systems and people across the imaging enterprise. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, shared their perspectives – your insights help shape what comes next.
