There's a difference between liking the idea of being outdoors and actually showing up when the weather has other plans. We saw that last week at our Wolf Trail event in Siegen. The forecast wasn't always promising, but that didn't stop people from lacing up their boots and heading out onto the trails. Over several days, hikers explored the forests and hills of the Rothaarsteig, covered more than 75 kilometers, and gathered at our basecamp at the Ginsburg for workshops, talks, and plenty of conversations in between. Ā  That's what these Wolf Trail events are all about. The Wolf Trail itself stretches nearly 3,500 kilometers from the Baltic Sea to the Adriatic. Most people won't start with a route like that. And they don't have to. These events are designed to make long-distance hiking more approachable. A chance to experience multiple days on the trail, learn from experienced hikers, test gear, build confidence, and discover what it actually feels like to keep going day after day. Ā  What stayed with us most wasn't the weather. It was seeing how many people showed up despite it. Thanks to everyone who joined us in Siegen and helped make it another memorable stop on the Wolf Trail journey. šŸ“ Next stop: Schwarzwald, August 12–16.
