𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧 - 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 👀 I’ve been working closely with a Dublin-based cybersecurity startup for some time now and we’re officially kicking off a really exciting hire within their engineering team. They’ve spent the last few years building an incredibly strong foundation of vulnerability and threat intelligence data, tens of millions of historical events, enriched datasets, threat actor insights, behavioural patterns etc. Now the focus shifts to machine learning. The goal is to build predictive capabilities that help organisations understand: - which vulnerabilities are most likely to be exploited - what emerging risks are developing - where defenders should focus before incidents actually happen This is not an “AI lab” or research-only environment. This is production-level machine learning inside a live cybersecurity product used by real customers. They’re looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer who enjoys: - building things properly - ownership/autonomy - predictive modelling - large-scale datasets - fast-moving startup environments - solving difficult real-world problems Experience across predictive modelling, production ML systems, ML Ops, TensorFlow/PyTorch, data science or large-scale data environments would all be highly relevant. Cybersecurity experience is helpful but not essential. Package is up to €130k + share options, pension and a remote-first setup. Honestly, from a mission + impact perspective, this is one of the more exciting ML opportunities I’ve come across recently. The team are keen to move quickly and we’re planning interviews ASAP.
