This past weekend we welcomed Nathan Lukes to the Jack Abrahams family. He walked on at Sacramento State. Left as the school’s all-time hits leader. Then after eight long years of minor league bus rides, he nearly walked away in 2022. Instead, that became the year everything changed. Big-league debut at 28. Nathan was never the can’t-miss prospect. He’s the guy who kept showing up. Now in his fourth season, he’s batting leadoff and hitting close to .300. Nobody lives the rhythm we build for more than a ballplayer. Hotel to ballpark to bus. 162 games, 81 on the road. Everything you need in one bag.
