It's Alzheimer’s Disease and Brain Awareness Month, and IXICO recognises the importance of supporting research to enable earlier and more accurate disease diagnosis and to increase the speed of drug development in this area of significant unmet need. We are proud to contribute to this progress through our ongoing work in imaging and biomarker validation.  In one of our recent studies we demonstrated that plasma Aβ42/40 and p-Tau217 show strong concordance with amyloid PET imaging. These findings point toward a multimodal future for Alzheimer’s diagnosis, where imaging, fluid biomarkers, and clinical insight work in combination to improve diagnostic confidence and enable more efficient clinical trials.
