✨ ALMOND RESIDENCES DUBAI, Creating this Aman - inspired branded residences concept was my way of showing the direction I truly belong in as a Head of Interior Design. I may not yet have had the opportunity to design branded residences professionally - but today this sector has become one of the most important parts of luxury hospitality, and I see no reason not to demonstrate that I already understand its language. The starting point for this concept was immediate: the new HBA/Hirsch Bedner Associates × Giorgetti collection presented during Milan Design Week a month ago. Bravo to Chris Godfrey and his team! Honestly - it was one of the most refined examples of contemporary hospitality joinery and collectible luxury I’ve seen in recent years. For this concept, I curated the space through: ▫️ Yves modular sofa by MINOTTI S.p.A., designed by Hannes Peer ▫️ Kumiki Armchair by Giorgetti, designed by HBA (2026) ▫️ Kiranami Screen by Giorgetti, designed by HBA (2026) ▫️ Hikari Sideboard / Bar Cabinet by Giorgetti, designed by HBA (2024) ▫️ layered bronze, walnut, callacata gold marble, gold marquina marble and textured fabrics. Because branded residences are never only about architecture. They begin with FF&E thinking from day one. And what fascinates me most about Aman is not luxury itself - but the psychology behind their spaces. According to my interpretation, Aman interiors are built around: ▫️ controlled imperfection ▫️ spatial softness ▫️ natural flow ▫️ emotional silence ▫️ tactile calmness ▫️ monumental restraint ▫️ sensory balance instead of visual overload Even their art curation follows this philosophy. Aman rarely selects 'sculptures' as decorative statements. Instead, the objects often feel like 'contemporary talismans' embedded into the architecture itself. They usually reference to: ▫️ erosion and nature ▫️ ritual objects and amulets ▫️ stillness and contemplation ▫️ organic asymmetry ▫️ emotional grounding That is why, already during the concept stage, I imagined this project developed in collaboration with artists such as El Seed or Mattar Bin lahej, whose work merges architecture, sculpture and contemporary Middle Eastern identity in an incredibly spatial way. For me, this is what branded residences should feel like today: NOT performative luxury - but emotional hospitality minimalism. #BrandedResidences #Aman #LuxuryHospitality #InteriorArchitecture #FFandE #HospitalityDesign #DubaiDesign #Giorgetti #HBADesign #Minotti #LuxuryInteriors #MiddleEasternDesign #ConceptDesign #InteriorDesigner #DesignConcept
