The second article in our two-part IVSC Professional Insights series on AI in valuation is now live, written by IVSC Asia Committee member, Karthik Balisagar. He sets out a perspective on what he sees as a significant potential consequence of AI adoption: if valuers and experts rely on models trained on overlapping data, their conclusions may begin to correlate, which could narrow the range of independent views that a tribunal or a market draws on. He links this to wider debates about correlated risk in less liquid markets. This perspective is part of a wider discussion and debate on the evolution of AI in the valuation process. What do you think? Read part two here. If you missed the first article, "On the Future of the Valuation and Damages Expert," you can read it here: https://lnkd.in/e2NZqbV2
