Don’t kill your company with your AI talent strategy. The AI talent war is upon us. Companies are racinggggg to build AI-fluent teams right now, and while hiring for technical capability is good, culture is completely getting lost in the process… We see this alllll the time and this is why AI adoption flops in so many organisations. But there is a solution to this: It alllll starts with who you hire. The problem with screening for only AI skills is that those will be outdated in a month. Focus on hiring based on behavioural traits such as proactivity, adaptability, pace tolerance and curiosity. It’s a green flag if the candidate has already solved previous problems with AI. But hiring is only the half of it. It’s also equally as important to foster an AI curious environment, where employee’s can see the incentive of using AI and not like they’re slowly replacing themselves with AI. Build rituals, implement strong knowledge sharing and provide solid & effective training to make using AI become like muscle memory for the team. So, how do you find these people???
