Now live across eleven markets, with plans to extend across the rest of our global network, our Care Frameworks are shaping how we continue to deliver the right contextualised care. Designed to support decision-making across our veterinary teams, they integrate the latest research and science while leveraging our reach within our network to bring in real-world learnings from across the globe.  Developed by our internal quality improvement teams and clinical experts, these frameworks complement and support our More Complete Care strategy. They prioritise preventative care, provide clear and evidence-based guidance, and help maximise practice capabilities while also placing a strong focus on client communication. Our first Care Framework focused on canine otitis externa, encouraging the use of ear cytology. Since its integration across our clinics, we’ve seen a 66% increase in ear cytology use - allowing for the almost instant identification of organism types. Along with a 28% reduction in antibiotic use and a 187% increase in topical steroid use which enables us to target inflammation locally rather than throughout the body. This helps to deliver more effective care while supporting our environmental responsibilities.
