Across our network of over 2,500 locations, it is our More Complete Care strategy that allows us to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality care for each of our 10 million patients annually. A large part of the success of the strategy is down to our growing number of Care Frameworks, now numbering 96 and live across 11 markets, which provide a structured, evidence-based approach to care that supports our teams in the decision-making process. This has helped improve clinical standards while also reducing antimicrobial use in conditions such as dental disease, otitis externa, atopy and feline urinary disease. One of the pillars of our More Complete Care strategy is a focus on preventive care, which includes regular vaccinations, health checks, wellness screenings and dental care that help our teams catch problems earlier or prevent them entirely. An example of this in practice is that when veterinary nurses notice any drop in weight, our care frameworks prompt further investigation through blood pressure checks and blood tests. Across the network, this has supported the identification of numerous previously undiagnosed cases of diabetes, hypothyroidism and chronic kidney disease.
