The FTC and DOJ have a timely opportunity to clarify how frontier AI labs can share data on biological risks. Existing models for competitor collaboration in sectors like finance and cybersecurity offer a strong foundation for clarifying antitrust guidance in #biosecurity. The Agencies have the opportunity to define how competing AI labs can collaborate to mitigate catastrophic biological risks while preserving competition, protecting user privacy, and supporting national security and economic growth.
