Happy Juneteenth! Today, we recognize and celebrate a pivotal moment in Black American #history, when the last enslaved African Americans in the United States learned of their freedom on June 19, 1865, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued. We hope today offers an opportunity to reflect, learn, and appreciate the significance of this day.
