BCS was sad to hear of the passing of Rob Neil FBCS CITP CEng. Rob was a dedicated technologist, mentor and long-standing BCS volunteer who gave generously to our community over many years. Across his career, he helped public sector organisations navigate digital transformation with clarity, pragmatism, and a deep understanding of people. His contribution to BCS included influential roles on the Academy of Computing Board and the Registrations and Standards Committee. Rob will be remembered for his technical expertise, as well as his generosity, humour, and commitment to helping others.
