Last night, federal lobbying disclosures dropped for Q1 2026. We were up late crunching the numbers and found this: 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁 $𝟮𝟮𝟲,𝟬𝟬𝟬/𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿. Here’s the full breakdown: 💰 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮: $𝟳.𝟭𝗠— the same year that juries in Los Angeles and New Mexico found them liable for addicting children online 💰 𝗔𝗹𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘁: $𝟰.𝟭𝗠 — 88 lobbyists paid for as YouTube faces thousands more trials in LA 💰 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁: $𝟮.𝟲𝗠 — fighting to keep AI unregulated 💰 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗔𝗜: $𝟭𝗠 — up 82% from last year 💰 𝗡𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗮: $𝟭.𝟯𝗠 — up 37%, right after Trump reversed chip export policy for Nvidia,  letting them sell chips to China 💰 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰: $𝟭.𝟲𝗠 — they also donated $20M to pro-regulation candidates for greater accountability Overall, the pattern’s clear: the courtrooms aren’t going their way, and the cases are stacking up.
